A Single Spur that I believe is marked VOGT on the inside of the heel band but it is hard to read; the spur is definitely a Vogt style. It has silver inlay and engraving on one side. According to information on the internet, the VOGT mark was used by the company’s founder, Norm Vogt, in the early years. It has a 1 inch wide heel band with a 2⅝ inch width at the opening. The shank is approximately 1½ inches long with a 10 point rowel that is 13/16 inches in diameter. It has dings, scratches, surface rust and pitting but the rowel and swingers move freely.
