Used mostly now behind a 1-ton for tractors / trucks / scrap but was a dozer and backhoe trailer behind an F-550 Ford and an F-7000 dump. For regular and heavy use (eg dozer, backhoe) I'd want to replace the tires. Needs a jack. Has surface rust and could use paint but frame, bed, rails are all solid. Electric brakes are not hooked up - don't know anything about them (what's there, if they would work). Needs wiring plug.
Fruehauf heavy-duty 21K GVW tri-axle (3 axles) tow-behind trailer. Deck is 15' long, 6'8" (80") wide. All-steel, open center. Pintle hitch. HD steel ramps. 2 owners from new - have original title. Always well-maintained by small construction company. Well-balanced. Tows smooth and straight. Wheel bearings just serviced. Tires are older but serviceable - just hauled across 2 states behind a 1-ton pickup without problems.
Specifications from title and tag: Manufactured --- Detroit MI; GVW --- 21000; Date of MFG. --- 6-Jun-72; titled --- 15-Feb-73; GAWR --- 3 @ 5580 with 8.00 - 14.5F tires; VIN (Serial #) --- DLP-500618; Model # --- C9PE-Y3; empty weight 2420 (weight slip). Selling for a friend who just bought a new tandem gooseneck. "Will it haul a _________?" It's a 21000# GVW so If it weighs 2500-lbs empty w/ chains & ramps it's rated to haul a payload of 18500 lbs (9+ tons). You'll want to do your own analysis based your estimates of the weight(s) of your machinery. Ready to hook up and use. In Ohio trailers under 4000# empty weight do not require a title for registration.
